The BarMouse 3 takes a different approach to how you interact with your computer by bringing cursor control directly in front of you, rather than off to the side. I find that one of the biggest advantages of a central pointing device is how naturally it fits into your existing workspace. Your hands stay close to the keyboard, reducing the constant reaching and repositioning that comes with using a traditional mouse.
The rollerbar allows you to move the cursor with a simple movement of your fingertips, while the integrated buttons and scrolling functions keep everything within easy reach. There is no need to grip a separate device or repeatedly move your hand away from the keyboard. Instead, you can maintain a more relaxed, balanced position with your hands working comfortably in front of your body.

The BarMouse sits directly below the spacebar, on your body's centreline. Roll the bar for vertical movement, slide it for horizontal navigation. Both hands stay within a few centimetres of home position, no reach, no twist, no dominant side.
Slimmer, for Thinner Keyboards
The BM3 is lower in profile than any BarMouse before it, designed around the slim keyboards common in today's offices. The result is a flatter, more neutral wrist angle through the whole working day.
Eight Buttons, Twelve Configurations
Copy, paste, browsing, macOS support. Twelve predefined button configurations, all selectable without software. Twelve DPI levels from 400 to 2,800 are shown on four LED indicators, and click tension is adjustable on the bar itself.

Keeps Hands in the Comfort Zone
Unlike a conventional mouse that requires reaching to the side of the keyboard, the Barmouse 3 sits centrally, directly below the space bar. This inline position allows your elbows to stay close to your body, reducing overreaching and helping to relieve neck, shoulder, and elbow strain caused by asymmetrical arm movement.
No Gripping or Clutching
Cursor control is achieved using an open, relaxed hand and gently curved fingertips. There’s no need to grip or hold the device, which helps reduce muscle tension and avoids unnecessary pressure through the wrist and carpal tunnel. The large, textured rollerbar moves smoothly with minimal effort for precise cursor control.
Ambidextrous by Design
Because the Barmouse 3 centrally positioned, it can be used equally well with either hand. This encourages natural hand alternation and helps distribute workload across both sides of the body rather than overloading one dominant hand.

Clicking can be performed using any finger on either hand, spreading the workload across multiple fingers. This helps reduce repetitive strain on a single finger, lowering the risk of discomfort or conditions such as trigger finger.
